Dr. Michael Heidish
Dr. Julie Heidish
Drs Mike and Julie Heidish are both graduates of The Ohio State University College of Optometry.
Before coming
to Ashville, Dr. Julie practiced at the Sears Optical in Lancaster Ohio for 12 years. Dr. Mike also practiced and
was a partner in a private practice in Columbus, Ohio for 15 years.
Dr.
Julie is originally from the Portsmouth Ohio area and did her undergraduate studies at Shawnee State University and The Ohio
State University. She practices primary care optometry and has extensive experience in cataract and refractive surgery
co-management. Dr. Julie is heavily involved in their children's school New Hope Christian School in Circleville
as well as their church Logan Elm Baptist where she is a 1st and 2nd grade sunday school teacher.
Dr. Mike is originally form the Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania area and attended Grove City College in Grove City
Pa. for his undergraduate degree. Dr. Mike has a strong background in difficult to fit contact lenses including toric,
bifocal, and keratoconus. Dr. Mike served a two year term on the TLC Laser Center advisory board. Dr. Mike also works part-time
for PrimeSource Healthcare providing optometric care to residents of nursing homes all over Ohio.
Both doctors are members of the Ohio Optometric Association and American Optometric Association as well as
the Logan Elm Baptist Church in Circleville where they currently reside. They hope to become residents of Ashville wiithin
the next year and have already purchased property towards that goal. They are the very proud parents of a daughter
and two sons.
